Ken Macway has over 30 years of experience in
operations, engineering, business management,
and consulting focused primarily in the chemical
industry. He has lived and worked in many
countries serving in roles including production
engineering, economic analysis, technical
services, quality assurance, and environmental
management.
Ken spent the bulk of his career with the
Kerr-McGee Corporation in increasing positions
of responsibility beginning as a field Process
Engineer and retiring as the Manager of
Technology & Engineering Evaluation.
During the first Gulf War, Ken was the
Technical Services Manager for a grass roots
chemical plant in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia and was
responsible for the direct management and budget
control of the facility’s process and project
engineering. Additionally, he was responsible
for quality control and assurance, material
testing and corrosion engineering, technical
training, and continuing plant Research &
Development activities during the construction,
commissioning, startup and operations of the
green-field, state-of-the-art facility.
Ken also has extensive experience in the
management of economic and technical feasibility
studies for new investments. He was responsible
for the management of a large capital project
portfolio, providing systems for the tracking,
monitoring, and projecting of capital
expenditures.
Ken has a B.S. Chemical Engineering from the
University of Nevada, Reno and a Masters in
Business Administration from the University of
South Alabama. |
